My solution - snorkle the last morning 
hell, it's still in the water - and there are still fish!
I'll admit to having done SUPER shallow dives (around 15' depth max, more like 10' most of the time) within the supposed "no fly" limits. I didn't die. I DO NOT RECOMEND ANYONE DO THIS!
