Sorry if this question has been asked before i couldn't find any answers

What is the difference in HP ports and LP Ports and witch goes to what:doctor: Pete

Hi Pete

HP ports are High Pressure the only thing that gets attached is your SPG

LP Ports Low pressure is for
Regulators and LP BCD Inflators and Drysuits

The ports have different sized threads for HP and LP

Some first stages have a LP port specifically for your Primary Reg.

Are all BC Inflators LP????

Hi Sydney,
I was wondering why many first stages have 2 HP Ports if the only thing that goes on it is the SPG.

Do tech divers have extra guages? as redundant backup? or is it for better hose routing when diving with doubles?

=-)

Some people that use air integrated computers also add a back-up SPG but tech divers don't have extra SPGs. I think the main reason for two ports is so you adjust your hose routing.

The HP port has a very small orifice in it so even though the air is at very high pressure there is hardly any available flow.
