Posting to US Vacation Forum

I wanted to ask a question on the US Vacation Forum, but didn't see a "Post New Thread" button.
Anyway, my question is about the best places for diving, good dive operations, and tourist-ing in North Carolina. Ashamedly, I've never been to NC. It's a spur of the moment trip for next month (July). Also need to know of reasonable places to stay while there. Experienced diver, so I'm game for about any kind of diving. Grateful for any kind of info anyone can give me.
