Dear PADIPRO:

It certainly is correct that a massive structural failure such as in the Aloha Airlines flight would depress the cabin in a couple of seconds. I believe that loss of a door would result in a slower depressurization rate.

A lost fan blade would make a much smaller hole - similar with a rotor shaft burst.

Personally, I would just as soon pass on all of these! :mean:
