I think a fire at Allegro took out the capability of producing Nitrox and thus the Pro Mexico dive op at Occidental Grand is only able to provide plain air. Anyone have any more accurate information regarding the availability of Nitrox at Occidental Grand.

TIA

Mark

I guess you mean Pro Dive Mexico?
There is certainly nothing on their FB page about a fire or Nitrox issues.

Yes, sorry. I do mean Pro Dive Mexico. I got a report from a person who was there last week and who said Nitrox was not available. I put that together with another person’s report of a recent fire at Allegro and arrived at the conclusion the two reports were connected. Since I am traveling there in three weeks, I wanted to determine if Nitrox was available.

Email them.

When I dove with them at the Occidental at the end of '18, I did all of the questions, paperwork (including c-cards) and initial scheduling via email a month ahead.

I will do that, thanks

There is no nitrox available due to the fire at the Allegro shutting down their filling station. Now they are getting all the tanks from a third party so they can´t provide free NX.
