Two days ago, my wife and I tried the new Apecs inflators on a dive off La Jolla. They seem to work fine, I was able to orally inflate my BC - in 52' water with gloves on - even with the shorter corrugated hose, and we had no problems with them. Much better than the K-style, IMHO.
