Why strange? I eat hotdogs with sauerkraut whenever I go to a baseball game.
Kraut on a dog is a no brainer (I'd do almost anything for a Weinerschnitel Store in Oklahoma, I have to go back to San Angelo for my hot dog fix), even slaw on a chili dog (or four) at Sid's in El Reno, OK is fantastic. If I remember right, the cabbage on the Cozumel vender cart dog was just plain shredded cabbage. I hadn't seen that before so it was different/strange to me. Still good. Another thing I like about the vender cart is they are there until stupid late and it feels like you are supporting a very small business in Cozumel. Walk another 100 feet or so and there is usually a one man cannabis dispensary...but that is an entirely different issue!!!
