New Features
Respawn System
- Changed the way player death is handled so that it is now possible to respawn.
- When you die for any reason, you will remain in the scene and see the reason for your death.
- After a few seconds, you will be given the option to respawn or abort the dive.
- Upon respawning, you will be at one of the spawn points for the dive site you are currently in, and some of your diver's state will be reset:
- Any injuries will be healed.
- Stamina will be at full.
- Air in your lungs will be full.
- Various long-term states will not be reset:
- Any tissue loading will remain.
- Your tank will not be refilled.
- If you are about to die of a long-term condition, then you will have a 60-second grace period to address the issue before dieing.
- This is already done for some conditions (such as oxygen toxicity), but has been expanded to all long-term conditions.
- If your cause of death was from a long-term condition, the 60 second grace period where you are warned about your dangerous condition will be reset, even though the root cause will not.
- You will need to address the issue that caused your death within 60 seconds or you will die again.
- The circumstances in which the "End Dive" (safely) button is replaced by the "Abort" button has been increased:
- In r14, the only condition to end the dive safely was that you were on the surface.
- In r15, you must be on the surface and not currently in the grace period for a long-term condition.
- Getting bent has been reworked:
- In r14, you got bent if you surfaced with unsafe tissue levels.
- In r15, you can get bent by being at unsafe tissue levels at any depth.
- In r15, getting bent is a long-term condition.
- If you are above your deco ceiling, you will receive a warning and must get below your ceiling within 60 seconds or you will die.

Buddy Diving Connection Changes
- The way that the connection portion of buddy diving works has been changed.
- The old system of the "Allow/Deny" pop-up for every user who wants to join has been removed.
- Now, when a user joins your dive they will automatically be accepted and enter the dive.
- Once the user has connected, they will appear on the new in-game list of players.
- Although the list has columns for score and deaths, these are not used yet ... but we will fix this soon  .
- The in-game player list is accessed by pressing the player score board key binding (default: F2), or selecting "Players" from the in-game menu.
- Using the player list, the host of the dive can choose to kick or ban someone if they want to remove a user from their dive.
- When you kick someone, they will be removed from the dive and receive a message indicating they have been kicked, but may rejoin at any time.
- When you ban someone, you will be given a confirmation prompt and be able to enter a reason for the ban.
- If a user you have banned tries to join your dive, they will be rejected with a message telling them you have banned them.
- You can examine the list of users you have banned by clicking on the "Ban List" button on the buddy diving screen.
- At this screen, you can see the list of all users you have banned, the date you banned them, and the reason for their ban.
- You can also manage the ban list at this screen. You can remove users that you no longer want banned, and add new users without them first joining your dive.

Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug in the new terrain rendering system that caused visible noise when the terrain was closely examined (This is not the "dancing terrain" bug on steep surfaces... that is still there :( ).
- Fixed a bug that caused new divers to have issues downloading the complete list of maps after finishing the pool.
- Made some tweaks to aggressive fish that should lead to them getting stuck less often.
- Made a fix to the aggressive squid script. It could get stuck in "attack" mode but not actually be attacking.
- Made the aggressive fish less noisy over-all. Volume of their music has been turned down, and only one instance of each track will play at a time. (ex: one shark music, one squid music, etc).
- Fixed a bug that would change your measurement preference to metric whenever you visited the log screen at the end of a dive.
- Fixed a bug at the dive results screen that would show the "You were on reserve air" message based on incorrect criteria.
- Fixed a bug where the "real ceiling" deco indicator on some technical computers would still show a ceiling once you were out of deco.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes you could still breath from a CCR when you had no oxygen in the counter-lung.
- Fixed text scaling on some menu screens.

Misc
- Added the option to have some maps designated "multiplayer only."
- Attempting to start one of these maps in a solo dive will show a message and prompt you to switch to hosting a multiplayer dive.
- The last column of the site list has been changed from "Web Link" to "MP" (for multiplayer) and shows an indication of the type of multiplayer the map will have (the icon for this is temporary and will be replaced soon).

- Added more feedback messages:
- When a player presses a key at the end of the site loading process, the message at the bottom of the screen changes to indicate that the key press was received.
- At the equipment screen, when a diver preview is being loaded a message is shown to indicate this.
- If you have selected a site, and you click the select button in a solo dive, that site will automatically be selected for you.
- If you have selected a site, and you click the select button in a solo dive and then cancel, that site will stay selected.

- Reorganized the buttons on the buddy dive screen to make room for the ban list button, and be more consistent
- Ban list added to the center row of buttons.
- Host moved to the bottom right corner.

- Reorganized the buttons on the dive results screen to be more consistent:
- Continue moved to the right left corner.
- Log dive moved to the middle area.

- Improved how on-screen messages are handled. Countdown messages (like out of air, out of dive site) will no longer count backwards once they have been resolved, but instead immediately fade out.

- Special fish that are synchronized in buddy dives will no longer teleport when they become out of synch.
