I stayed there nearly 12 years ago so my input may not be helpful? Had a great time... comfortable cabana styles rooms located on the beach. Quick six pack boats run by locals with great knowledge of the waters and no crowds. It was my 30th B-Day (yes, I'm aging myself) and not only did our dive master's wife(Turiano was his name... don't know if he'd still be there but he was awesome) make me a cake but the restaurant's chef did also! Very cool!
The island is small, so you are well within walking distance to town for restaurants, etc. And I didn't wear shoes all week.
I do remember that the pool was a salt water pool... not very refreshing after a day of diving... but, all in all, I had a great time. Hopefully it's still as nice as when I was there.
