Has Any one seen Any sharks around ras mohammed,, sharks and yolanda. Strait of tiran . Spieces? And depths?

I can’t say I have any experience diving in that area... at least not yet. I’m heading out on the Red Sea Aggressor II in September and am definitely looking forward to it; it will be my first time on a liveaboard! I’m also interested to hear of others’ experiences in this area.

I've seen a manta ray at Yolanda reef once but not any sharks. Big schools of jacks, snapper and spadefish in june/july which are lovely.
You can see hammerheads off the back of Jackson Reef in the Strait of Tiran but you need to swim out in the blue and sometimes pretty deep 30m/100ft +, can be tricky with currents so make sure you have plenty of deco time and a surface marker and adive tenders standing by in case you drift off / end up in the washing machine between jackson and thomas (?). Can occasionally see reef sharks at the other reefs too but usually biggest marine life are turtles.

I used to work on a liveaboard there so have dived those areas all year round.
