Rescued diver rushed to hospital in critical condition
Rescuers retrieved a floating diver offshore from Port Everglades on Wednesday evening.

Both a Broward Sheriff’s Office marine unit and a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission boat responded to the 7:05 p.m. call of a diver found floating in the water, said Mike Jachles, spokesman for Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue.

The man was taken to shore at Port Everglades where awaiting paramedics rushed the man to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition, Jachles said.

Possible shore dive????? It's flat calm and beautiful dive conditions today. Not even gonna guess what happened. Prayers sent.
