They will aslo enjoy Gumbalimba park. The beach at west bay tends to have less sand flies nowadays, you can also get day tickets at Mayan Princess Resort for $10, they have a lovely pool which is sand fly free and the kids can run between the pool and the beach, in fact dipping in the pool seems to be a great way to repel them.
