Hi,

I posted on another thread that I was seeking information on dive cutting tools. I thought that perhaps it was rude to ask for information without offering something in return.

I work with Spyderco knives. I thought to offer some Salts in return for your input.

We make 4 models of Salts ( Salt 1 - Atlantic Salt - Pacific Salt & Tasman Salt ). They can be seen at our website; Spyderco.com. ( http://66.113.178.251/catalog/list.php?genre=knife ).

They come in black or yellow handles with plain or serrrated edges.

If you will post your screen name, we will select 5 names the end of May and give each their choice of any of the Salt models.

I would also ask that you share with me your thoughts on the H-1 thread.

thanx much.

I've been using a Salt since DEMA 2005 and even posted a review of same on this board as well as www.SCUBADIVING.com.

I've been in touch with Joyce on several occasions since DEMA and asked about a fixed blade version as well as a smaller folding version that I could use as an 'every day carry' knife when I am near water.

Here's a link/http://green-manelishi.info/main/diving/images/cuttingtools.jpgpicture from my website, of current cutting tools:

I wish my Assist was a "salt" version. Rust up pretty bad in my bunkers.

We'll draw the contest winners names from this thread and use the other thread for info.

I've been using a folding Gerber I found while diving. The price was right but the rust treatments are getting old. A small rust proof folding knife should be a winner.

I like a small knife, 4" blade, sharp with a serrated edge, line cutter and a secure way to attach it to a BCD or BP/W.

I'm game.... pickens_46929 is my screen name...
