I am getting into diving and plan to quickly progress my skill level and gear set. It seems this is a good way to get nearly everything at once. I am wanting gear that is going to last me a long time and be reliable. Servicing gear is also not a problem for me either.

Looking for others opinions!
Thank you!

Whats the price? Can you inspect before buying? Any signs of it being a scam etc.

Price is $1500 for everything.
I am going on Saturday to inspect / buy.
What should I be looking for when inspecting? anything in particular besides the obvious?

Hard to describe without actually seeing it. If you can bring a tank and hook up the BC, obvious signs of damage, make sure camera turns on, check manufacturer date, vis and hydro dates on tanks, are tanks pressurized to some degree.

Okay and if everything seems well taken care of and all in good shape, do you think $1500 is a good price?

Again depending on which model, generally used dive gear goes for 50 percent of new if recent and in very good shape, adjusted according to age etc.

I would check new price of each individual item and adjust from there.

The used market is tricky, good deals can be had but requires reasearch.

If you are just getting into diving, the SMS100 is going to be a little out of your scope.
AL80 tanks can range from good to no local shop will fill them.
Sea Doo scooter is probably a pool toy
Drysuit and wetsuits are worthless if they don't fit right. But that could make the value if they are "right"

$1500 could be worth it, can't say. There are lots of unknowns.
