In my previous trips to AKR, I do not recall ever seeing a monkey around the resort, either on the main island or the key. We did see a couple when we did the zipline though.

The thing about The SCUBABoard Invasion is, there doesn't have to be an actual monkey for someone to see one.

The monkeys were fun at Fantasy Island for a while. But then after a while it got bothersome having to watch everything all the time. They'd steal anything and tossed the trash cans on the beaches and at the pool, bar and restaurants.


On a happier note, I mailed off my Ikelite gift certificate from the 2013 Invasion to purchase a strobe. I hope to get it in time to jump in the pool to test it before it gets too cold.

The thing about The SCUBABoard Invasion is, there doesn't have to be an actual monkey for someone to see one.

Cardzard and I will get the map and crew list updated as soon as possible. In case you hadn't noticed, we have our own sub-forum now! Unfortunately in the move, our moderator powers didn't move with us. We are in the process of getting them restored.

We can however tell you, Florida is turning up the heat in the race for the state with the most crew members.
