Does it need to be serviced?

Well, it needs a new dip tube. I have not been diving with this valve otherwise.

That's not an adjustable valve, It's an older j valve that parts are very hard to come by to service it. Especially with the indicator window. Probably not going to find parts for that anywhere. The filter is also likely non serviceable. Interesting collector item and that's about it. Make a cool paperweight though. I also wonder what size o ring it takes?

I am just curious as I own three (3) of those valves . The reserve pressure cannot be adjusted in those DCAR valves ?? I had always been taught that the reserve pressure could be set between 350 - 600 above ambient pressure .

I thought the same, hence the title of this listing.

If you look on top of your valve you will notice a big screw with a little screw in the center . The little screw is the adjustment . The big screw ( cam retainer )when removed has four notches cut out of it two high and two low . The small screw is the cam adjustment which the spring keeps pressure against the cam retainer ( big screw) . The cam adjustment has two Vs which fit into the notches Depending on which way you turn the small screw dictates which set of notches the cam rides in thus which pressure you want . I was going to send you pictures but my cameras battery just died . If you want I will send tomorrow .
