I'm a Fish!
I just upgraded to a drysuit with a pair of Bare lace up boots. The boots are a size 10 and obviously do not fit in my current size medium fins. I want to upgrade to Jet Fins. Should I order L or XL?

I'd go with XL.

Size 10 Bare Trek boots?

If so, then you need turtles according to kidspot's page: http://www.kidspot.org/personal/scuba/bare.html

My size 11 bare trek boots didn't fit my XL jets. I doubt size 10's would either. In the end I sold the boots and the turtles though and went with a smaller shoe and my XL jets. I now have chuck taylor hi-tops for dry diving. size 11 fits into XL jets. size 10 would probably fit too. i've hear a lot of good things about the dui turbo soles as well.

Which are heavier in water? Turtles or Jets?

Jeez. I could have swore I saw some fellow divers hoppin around in Bare Treks and Jets. I like the chuck all star idea.

Handy Link

If you are worried about the weight, try OMS Slipstreams. Their XXL weighs a couple ounces less than a Lg Jet and it seems to be about the size of a Turtle according to an exchange I had with Kidspot.

Not possible to try some on before you buy?
