Shark Culling Given Go Signal What Can we do?

Western Australia has given the go a head to Cull sharks with the intent to reduce beach shark attacks.

I personally will not spend my travel dollars visiting a country that supports shark culling.

We can just hope that the protests and anti cull sentiment offered by majority polls are kept tied up in court for as long as possible until its over ruled. Please post your opinion re not diving this country to the lobby and facebook groups (save our sharks)...theres a dive next saturday to protest, earlier this month a beach protest of just under 4000 people, there's legal issues such as the shark ''shooters'' tendering process being flawed etc. Govt is saying now it will use fisheries officers to patrol the drumlines and fisheries officers are said to be concerned about retribution from shark activists.

I hope we can stop it before it happens..I said today the first dolphin caught on those lines will cause a public outcry and get rid of them if they are put in. Shame sharks dont have the same publicist as dolphins.

Maybe what is really needed is a cull of stupid politicians and bureaucrats... and not only in WA!

Todays update..they have found someone (at a couple of hundred thousand dollars for 3 months) willing to shoot sharks and not afraid of RADICAL protesters death threats.
