Sharks??? During Beach Dives

I read that article. What I have learned is when the sea lions leave you, take off your fins. (haha)

Just Blue, angel, horn, and swell sharks so far. There are lots of juvinal great white sharks in our local waters too, but I have not seen any while diving. Several are swimming with surfers near San Onofre Beach in California for the past several weeks.

Of course there is the case last week of that woman just up the coast from here (she was in central Californai) who was swimming with sea lions ( a great white favorite) and met a great white. She did not survive the encounter.

So seeing sharks of any type while shore diving is a distinct posibility. But what a treat they are to see.
