There's not much one needs actual protection from but for aesthetic purposes - absolutely.
 
If you need one, I think you are doing something wrong :D. The only thing that would prevent is drysuit squeeze in bad spots :wink:
 
Only if you upset your dive buddies.
 
Only if you plan to behave in an exceptionally offensive manner around women with violent tendencies.
 
Maybe a refresher in the "Giant Stride" instead.
 
Loosen the crotch strap before your voice changes.
