A simple way to secure your SMB or other rolled up dive gear is to use a piece of bicycle inner tube. I use new bicycle inner tubes ($2.50), cut it up into 1 inch wide bands and use the bands to secure all kinds of things in by BCD and on my backplate. Cheap and if you lose one it is no big deal.
