I recently stayed at one of the all inclusive resorts in south Cozumel. Most of the dive spots are within 5-15 minutes boat ride away from the resort, so the boats would sometimes return to the resort dock after a single dive to drop off or to pick up other divers.
There was a family that week that alternated babysitting duties for a girl too young to dive. Sometimes, the mother and daughter would be aboard the boat; other times the father and one or both of the sons were aboard. I think they usually did 2 dives per group- either AM or PM.
The resort was the Occidental, the dive shop was Prodivers, and the shop seemed very responsive to client requests.
