Hi,
Does anyone know how to remove a slob knob from the isolation valve?
I have bought a twinset second hand and it came with a slob knob. Now I want to service the valves but can't see how to remove the slob knob to get to the middle valve.
If I search the internet for info or video's, I come out in a completely wrong place ! :)
Any information is welcome. :)
Thanks
Alasdair

At the end by the valve you should see two set screws. Take those out (don't loose them - they are small). Once you do that you should be able to unscrew the cable (?) - don't know what to call it. It's the thing with the valve knob on the far end and looks like a hose. Once it's unscrewed you will find what's left is just like a regular valve knob. Unscrew the machine screw holding the knob onto the valve and you are good to go.

If you are not going to use the slob knob and want to sell it cheap, PM me.

Kharon,

Thanks for the info. I've now succeeded in taking it apart. :)

If I do decide to sell it, I'll let you know.

Glad I could help.
