Can batteries still be replaced on SmartCom units?

Both by Scubapro (about $60) and by Brass Anchor Scuba in Frederick, MD for far less and much faster. Give Terry a call, he does 20 a week.

Smart Com computers can still have their batteries changed through your local Scubapro dealer.

Was told by my LDS that as of October 15, 2013 Scuba Pro would no longer service or replace batteries in the Smart Coms. Anybody else here this info? They'll be glad to sale you a new one at a discount.
