snaps: how to attach to regulator hose

Dr.RNA:
I was curious as to how most are attaching their SS snaps to their primary regulator hose.
cave line. Twice around both snap (through the eye) and hose, single knot on one side, pull both ends of the line to the other side and close off with a square knot. Burn ends and tap in to knot.
 
I use 'small' zip tie,,,,easy to cut or clip if ness..
 
For something like knot-tying, a picture is definitely worth a zilion words.
 
I use ZIP ties.
