Hi, I would like to know if anyone has tried a snoot on a housing directly. I'm traveling around and I cannot carry with all, so I love macro and thought that a snoot on housing, aviod me to travel with flash, will give me more possibilities that without any light effect.

Has anyone diy?

I would like to know too where I can buy a fiber optic fabric, and if I have to consider anything special on DIY.

Thanks you

I guess I am confused. A snoot is a mechanical thing that mounts to a strobe to decrease the dispersion of the light from the flash. If you mean use the internal flash of the camera in the housing, at DEMA the Saga guys were showing something like that.
