So where are you going in 2008?

My son and I are off to Bonaire Fri, Jan 4 through Sat Jan 12. Then Florida spring diving in Feburary and March for practice, practice and more practice, then a cavern diving course with Capt Jim Wyatt in April, then the Bahamas with my son again in May.
Only tentative for the rest of the year but we plan a Thailand trip sometime next fall.
Goals are to take at least 1 really good picture out of the thousand I am going to snap off. Second, pass that cavern class.
This is going to be a great year, I just feel it.

We are going to Hawaii for 2 weeks in April...90 days

Oahu/Big Island/Maui.....dive with Mantas, and Molokini

Headed for a cruise with the wife for our 15th in March and pland to dive in Belize while there. Then in August doing a week in Roatan with a couple buddies and a group I haven't met yet. Looking forward to the stay at Coco View (10 day cruise with the wife will probably be fun too)

We were planning on spending a week in Key Largo, and a then a one week cruise later in the year diving in Belize, Cayman and Roatan. We has also hoped to be able to fit in (and afford) a week in Bonaire as well.

All our plans are on hold because my 12-year-old nephew fractured his skull on Saturday and he is currently in a coma. If he recovers he will most likely be in hospital for 12-24 months, so all my vacations will be spent going back to the UK to support my family.

Leaving for a week on the Aquacat out of Nassau on Saturday! It's ~80 there now. It's low 30's/high 20's here. Can't wait..

When it warms up we are heading to my brothers resort in Norfork Ark. for a week to dive the underwater city. Than back to the Keys and jump over to Venice when we can to shark tooth hunt.

I want to take a week long dive trip over Spring Break but now I have jury duty and cant go. If I had the trip planned ahead of the time I could have been released. Darn it ... next time I will text a travel agent if it looks like they are going to keep me. Guess I will be diving Casino Point and I can afford that anyway.

I will be flying down to FLA on most of my days off to get in some wreck dives and just to get otta the snow!

Hopefully get in a week away somewhere but who knows, one day at a time.

My wife and I are going on a Royal Caribbean Cruise in January. I'm planning on diving in Grand Caymen and Cozumel. Then in Feb I'm going to Lake Ellen in Wakulla (a neighboring county) for my Rescue Class.

Hey we're making the most of the $ to £ exchange rate!!! Me and Mrs G are heading for Bonaire for 2 weeks in April Diving with Chrissie W at Belmar ( part of the great Buddy Dive setup on the Island) then it's a weeks liveaboard with Nekton Cruises doing the Cay Sal trip in August out of Fort Lauderdale.
Sure is a tough life - what the heck am I gonna do when I retire!
