I think 68 people hunting bugs at the same beach would be a strain on the ecosystem:)
I'll be at Treasure Island in Laguna on the 26th and in the water at 11:50!
 
Not opening day, but after a couple weeks, one of the big beaches in Malibu. A dive and cookout would be pretty cool. Let me think about this, I may be able to spice it up a bit.

Hmm, I'm thinking a meet up at Laguna Sea Sports on opening day, a BBQ and a predive BS session with a meet up later opening night to show off our bugs would be great! Anyone up for that?
 
I would agree.. There are some pretty good sites out here that offer a different perspective to the underwater world you can't get in a tropical environment.

Me personally--- I like Giant kelp forests..
