Been a while since I posted.

Just want to share some photos taken last week in Socorro aboard the Nautilus Explorer.

Awesome sightings and encounters with Giant Oceanic Mantas, Dolphins, Hammerhead Schools. Trip of a lifetime.

We were there in 2014 and are going back in 2019. Of all the places I have been over the years, the trip in 2014 is still my all time favorite trip. Truly amazing.

Looks like you had some pretty great interactions with dolphins, so jealous! We were there in June of last year, truly a trip of a lifetime.

Fantastic pics - looks like you had amazing interactions with the dolphins. This is a trip I need to do. How warm is the water this time of year/what type of exposure suit is needed?

He said Nautilus Exlorerer - is there more than one ship? Any one you recommend as I'm really interested after seeing a few threads on Socorro recently and i beleive you said you've been there a few times? Any time of year better than others?

Thanks, I missed that. I've only been once on the Nautilus Belle Amie, but I understand that the Rocio del Mar also goes there. They're all awesome boats, though the Belle Amie is the newest and the largest. The boats are kind of transient in that they won't go there unless it's good diving. I know that the Nautilus boats do Great White Diving and the Rocio del Mar does the Mar de Cortez. I hope to do the former some time, but I've been to the Sea of Cortes twice now on the Rocio del Mar. It's magical.
