There is a bit of place between Tampa ans Punta Gorda. If in tampa / st. pete you should check out Aquatic Obsessions. Its run by a fella' named Bill Hardman...hes top of his class and loves the sport. Friendly bunch also. GL

If it's closer to Punta gorda that you'll be, I'd consider a beach dive at Venice beach or possibly a charter off Venice beach with Capt. Steve of ScubaWest in Venice. If it's farther North towards Tampa, I'm sure you'll get lots of suggestions from Tampa area divers. BTW...Tampa and Punta Gorda are over 100 miles apart.

Scuba Quest runs 2 boats out of Bradenton. The crew down there is pretty nice and the location is in the middle of where you are staying.

The scuba quest in Bradenton is nice. Stay away from the one in Sarasota, There is a place called Fantasy scuba in Port charlotte that is great IMO. The staff there is awesome and they know there stuff....NO BS there!:14:
