Some pics from my trip to Indonesia...

This summer, I went to Indonesia... what a great vacation! I took some pics underwater, so I want to share some with you.
All were taken with my Panasonic LX3 (in 10bar housing). Unfortunately, I don't have any external strobes or wet lenses, so nothing to fancy

For using a "not too fancy " camera those are some great shots! I loved the one of the guy and the turtle and the pygmy sea horse shot. It almost looks like there are 2 pygmy sea horses??? Am I seeing things? Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! The guy with the turtle, that is actually me That was an amazing experience: The goal of that dive was to find some Mantas and there was some current up. So we were floating aroung the reef when my buddy and I saw this turtle on our right side and we kicked hard to reach it. When we arrived, the turtle got up from the ground and stared at me for 30 seconds (eyeball to eyeball!) before starting to float somewhere else. That was amazing.

You are not seeing things There are actually THREE pygmy sea horses in that pic. I marked them in the attached picture. That was an amazing experience too!

We went from Bali to Gili Air (north of Lombok) and afterwards to Flores to go on a safari in the Komodo Sea... that which was spectacular!

Thanks for sharing, Marc. In a couple of weeks I'm off to Indonesia for a week in Bali and then a liveaboard around Komodo, also with my LX3.
