Hello:

Does anyone know of a source for Shell Corena P150 in 5 gallon pails. All of the local Shell distributors here now only carry it in 55 gallon drums.

I'm interested in the exact product, not amsoil PCL (not recommended for breathing air) or the ecompressors equivalent.

Thanks.

You could just buy 5 one gallon containers directly from Bauer USA in San Francisco or try these guys where I have purchased it a few years back for $35 a gallon. It is listed under the Bauer oil #26.

Once a 5 gallon pail of mineral oil is open to the environment it has a two year shelf life especially if exposed to high Texas temperatures. At two years the concentrations of the additives in the oil will be about half of what the new oil started with simply through oxidation and evaporation. So if you don't think you will use the 5 gallons in a 2 year time frame it is better to just purchase the one gallon jugs when needed.
