I am going on a cruise in December that stops in Tahiti, Bora Bora, Raitea, Morea, Pago Pago, Fiji, Vanuatu, Norfolk Island, Bay of Islands and Tauranga with the last 2 in new Zealand. I want to dive as much as I can on the way. Has anybody dived in any of these locations and do you have any recommendations? Thanks. ol' dock diver

Will you be arranging your diving through the cruise ship, or on your own?

Be aware that a LOT of the diving there is shark feeding dives. We did learn that if we asked not to do them, they would find something else for us to do. We did a very nice little wall off Papeete, and a pair of wrecks (a barge and plane) that were pleasant dives.

Too bad your cruise isn't going to Rangiroa or Fakarava. Diving in those places is spectacular.
