I once had near 85 ft of virility here at the Casino Dive Park. Geez it was awesome (that's what she said too)..

As for the more mundane matter of kelp in SoCal, water has been warm recently (causing sloughing of kelp blades) and the swells are high this weekend. However there have been some great days of diving (60-80 ft vis recently) off Catalina and we should get many more before the winter rains dump sediment into our nearshore waters. At least here on Catalina that usually clears up more quickly than the mainland coast due to steep offshore slopes and lack of significant swell to resuspend it.

Hmmm... wonder what the virility is like today? I'm taking a day off from diving to work on the computer.
