I think i saw some DIY spring straps for jet fins here. Can anyone help me with directions or whatever. I cant justify spending 40 dollars on some springs.

I have made 7 "H" spring strap sets so far. Even, I just made another one today. If you only need one set, just buy $40 one. You won't save that much money for one set.

hehehe nothing associated with scuba diving is cheap. Not even a set of springs.

Thats why I just got a few replacement straps (at $6 each with the buckles). I hear the springs are nice, but Im not sure if they are $40 - $60 nice......

It is more convenient factor and less failure point. It is depending on your work load for the dive preparation.

I make them for sale, & I don't make much from doing it. When you make a single pair, by the time you pay shipping on everything the parts don't look very cheap any more & that's before you factor in your time. The only way I can justify making them for others is to order enough stuff at a time to absorb the shipping charges to me.

Yeap.. Get it from Wayward Son. He knows how to make the spring strap. It is a proven quality in our board. I think mine "H" is better than his strap though  Mine isn't on sale.......... LOL~~~~
