LOL! First the Preflash issue did not work then it was the magic electronics of TTL cannot be used now its the power output of the strobe! The Ikelite M series/A35 Substrobes were the most popular macro strobe ever made. Now you are comparing them to a 100+watt DS125 at seven times the cost? When most of the U/W photos are made up of MACRO or NORMAL shots like your own shots above, easily covered by the A35!

Actually from some of your examples above you were better off buying two smaller strobes to cut down on the heavy shadows on the opposite side of the image. And is the nudi a bit blown out (even the sand is blown out) or over exposed or is it just my monitor.

Next thing you'll say is the color of the strobe's housing has something to do with lighting control!
