Stupid question about Atomic Aquatics

String runs inside spring and is not wound around it ... I can get mine on/off with my thick kevlar gloves on


NOTE: if you pull hard enough on that Atomic snap buckle, you can get it to "unsnap" from your fin .. I can and have ... not gonna happen with that plate that XS Scuba uses.
