Using my Stylus 400 w/512 mem card, I get a 'card error' often when below 15ish feet. it hasnt happened shallower but has worked then errored (not always) at different depths down to 80 feet. Back on the boat it works fine. I have tried reformatting many times. but the problem always returns. I Never get the problem on land.
I contacted olympus, but they want me to send everything in to them ( Camera, card, Housing) and I would prefer not to.
