I'm a Fish!
So I managed to get a few dives in to try out the Nauticam SMC.
Used with a Canon 7D, 100mm 2.8 Macro Lens and Nauticam-Diopter Flip.

Here are some sample shots I managed to get:

Skeleton Shrimp F32 1/250 ISO100

Skeleton shrimp and yellow gobies. Anilao?

That first pic is amazing. Great angle!

Nice shots! Have you used the Subsee + 10? If so, how does it compare to the SMC?

I used a Subsee +10 a couple weeks ago in Lembeh and wonder how they compare.

Have never used the subsee, but I understand this SMC is roughly around +15 so would assume more magnification.

Given the increased difficulty with increased magnification, there is a point of compromise where some cropping might be a practical solution as well if magnification becomes to high to be practical.

The Saga +15 and the Nauticam SMC are I believe about the same.

Probably too much for me then, as a DX body plus my 105mm lens would make it quite difficult to use...I guess I'll wait on that until I get a FX body down the line.
