I am planning to pick up an SK7 compass and DSS wrist mount soon. Since i am planning on using the DSS mount, can i buy the add-on compass for console mount and save a few bucks over the wrist mount version? Is this the same compass in a different mounting, or is it different than the one in the wrist mounting? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

same animal

the great thing about the wrist mount is that you can extend your free hand, and then clasp that elbow with your compass hand, and you have a very steady and handy platform to keep an eye on the compas as you swim

not so easy with the console

Thanks for the help guys. Much appreciated.

You might head over to DecoStop and get in on the 'group' buy of this compass including the DSS wrist mount and US shipping included for $75.00. :D
