Hi All,

I'm planning to install a 70 Degree Swivel adapter to my Second Stage. In the old setup (wasn't installed by me) I noticed there's no o-ring between swivel and the second stage.

Now with new second stage, when I took out the hose, I noticed there's a O-ring (see image attached). My question is.... do I need that o-ring? what's the best practice?

Anyone who has experience with swivel adapter could advise :D

Thanks in advance,
Kebo

that o-ring works as a cushion to absorb torque and protect the plastic jam nut. It is not a seal. If not used, you just have to b e very careful to not over tighten the connection or leave it so loose as to loosen in use. It is a great use for an old o-ring.

Hi Awap,

Thank you for confirming this. That explains why in my old setup don't have that o-ring. Guess the guy from DC removed it.

Thanks a lot,
Kebo
