Tetra 5050 Zoom Lever Sticking

My Tetra zoom lever is not returning to center without my help. Of course, I cannot take photo unless lever is in center postion. HELP

Let it soak in fresh water a few hours, working the control several times maybe every 30 min or so. If that doesn't help, then disassemble & service shafts & o-rings. I haven't disassembled mine but I believe there is an inner/outer shaft arrangement since the zoom & shutter controls are on the same centerline. That being the case, there should be multiple o-rings of different sizes. L&M should have them. My zoom was sticky during a long trip, but a good soaking fixed it.
