Hey guys,

So im thinking of getting a wide angle lens for my tg6. Will a wide angle lens affect the focusing if i am taking macro shots?
I know backscatter said that i could zoom in regularly on macro shots even with their wide angle lens on. Is this actually true?

I have the Kraken WA lens on my TG6 housing and doesn't really work that well for macro.

I was a bit disappointed when I bought it from Backscatter as they released their lens about a week after I bought the Kraken lens.

You can shoot macro with the M52 Air Lens from Backscatter, you obviously just can’t get as close. Your wide angle won’t be as good as with M52 Wide Angle lens but I don’t think you can shoot macro with that lens.

I have taken macro shots with the M52 Air lens on. But now I'm using the WA lens and for macro I simply take it off. Just get a 52mm lens holder and attach it somewhere to your setup.

This past holiday in Komodo I've switched from wide to macro regularly, it is not so complicated. The TG-5 Custom modes help enormously to switch the camera settings back and forth.

i just purchased the KRL02 with my new TG 6 and am diving tomorrow for the first time with it. Practicing on my back deck with wide angle close focus - I cannot get it to focus - at all . Advice??

good info about a lens holder - I wondered how I would be able to switch to macro and what to do with the wide angle lens. Headed to Roatan next week - my first experience with this new set up. Will keep you posted.
