Looks like this thread could use a little push ....

Here's my story .... I've wanted to get some ink since college but never was sure what I wanted. Also, my girlfriend at the time who later became my wife was totally against it. Since it wasn't that big of a deal to me, I just let it go.

Well, she filed for divorce a few months ago and that of course gave me just one more reason to get one. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I looked through this and several other threads and still didn't know what I wanted. I was at my LDS and he had just gotten some new AO shirts in... And the rest, as they say, is history. I made several changes to the origional design and was still making changes when I went in to get it. It's only been 5 or 6 weeks since it was done but I'm happy with it. Don't know when/if I will ever get another one but I'm glad I did it.

So, here it is, never before seen by anyone other than the artist and myself....

So there you go.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Sweet Tat

Nice signature as well

I posted this in another thread, but here is my first tattoo. I really love it and everyone of my scuba buddies that has seen it in public thinks it is cool as well.

Your thought?

Ok, so I first want to thank everyone for the great ideas! But I have had mine for years now, just could never decide where/when I wanted to get it done. Well, tonight is the night! As soon as I get off work (at my LDS of course) I am going to have beautiful fresh ink! So here's my plan: I want a scubasmurf (if you've never seen it, type it in google, it's a little figurine) inside of an aquarium! And I think I'm going to go with my lower back so it's not floating somewhere randomly on my body, but has a base. I'll post pictures as soon as I can! Wish me luck!

This is one that I was thinking of doing on my back/shoulder.

Hey guys, I own two Tattoo Studios in Macon, Ga. and one in Fernandina Beach, Fl. and I love doing scuba related Tattoos, especially realistic underwater scenes. And when you are thinking about scuba related tattoos you first need to think about wether you want cartoon style designs (like Nemo, Little Mermaid, etc.) or are you looking toward flags, gear, divers or any designs that are more technical. And last, if you are looking for "Photo Realistic" type underwater scenes..
I prefer the last myself, but everyone has different things that interest them.

Here are some Tattoos I have done:
