... probably the stupidest diving movie I have ever (not) seen. ...
Dude, you have GOT to see some of the flicks I have in my collection!
The 1950s era was chock full of real lousy dive flicks; heck, I've even gone so far as to track down a barely heard of flick just so I could check out the special built hats & FFMs.
The next time ya see a copy of "The Monster that Challenged the World", snap it up!
You'll have a new contender for the #1 stupid spot! :D

Anyone seen it? Watched it a couple weeks ago, and re-watched it tonight. Pretty goofy horror flick, but lots of caving. They do all of their diving on Megs. They break a lot of rules, but for the most part, it's relatively accurate as far as movies go. They are ESPECIALLY good with the rebreather knowledge (again, it's conditional, for a movie). Lots of great UW shots.

You all may know the systems, but I would venture to guess it was filmed in Florida.

Danny

Wes Skyles and Jill Heinerth did a great job with the movie. The land cave stuff was shot in Romania, and then bits in Dos Ojos mexico and the open water stuff in the Bahamas I think. No FL caves. Its a fun movie, i didnt really like the ending myself but its a movie...also where can i get a cave mole that eats Kermantle? =)
