I just "The Fundamentals..." in the mail yesterday and so far (I'm on page 29), I find it to be a really good book. I hope to put some of the concepts into effect right away.

Awesome. I think you'll find that the system is sound for new divers to advanced to technical.

Yea the book is great but its only a book. What will realy bake your noodle is when you start diving with like minded divers. Its the team concept that it central to this kind of diving.

Then there is the F class.

Also, I've made quite some more headway with "Fundamentals...." over the weekend and flipped through Dress for Success. Even as a noob, there are some things I can incorporate with my current gear.

I have just ordered my a few days away after reading alot into the postings on DIR topics. Can't wait to take a look into it!!!!!!!

Oh. I'm not ready to dive doubles. First order of business is to get a drysuit anyway so I can extend my season.

I agree, I like the book. I'm not a DIR trained diver, but it is good reading & thought provoking.
