I freely admit I'm a GOMER, I like it so much I bought the Company!

I can only think of a couple of times in Florida I really got crunchy, was one
of them when you tried to make a sandwich with the scuba van with Hummer
and Coach bus bread?

Kenny and I are set for Mermet to do our dry suit certs and also get in some
extra diving, should be fun!

jbd, is it allowed to place the golf ball in the divers mask then use the purge
button on his reg to force clear the mask, then head for the surface???
You forgot the semi chaser with that sandwich. That was way too close for me.

I won't be making Mermet, sorry guys.

Fish really do more than pee in Joe's quarry and I have it on tape.

I have been reading your ideas in this thread Jim and it sounds like a great idea. The only problem that I see is I don't think you will be able to find the hole if you have to be feet over the hole -:rofl3: From what I can remember the viz wasn't too good there. :eyebrow:

I used to dive wet before I went to steel doubles. :D Now I need the dry suit for redundant bouyancy. :D

I haven't even got to look at the leak yet.

Chad,
we really need to get you off the kool-aide, come join our group
and enjoy some beer!

SoCal, we have had some low vis but I'd say 8'-25' this year is good
enough to find the pin!

I love my Kool-aid....but it isn't about DIR it is about wanting to get into more advanced stuff soon and needing all the time on the gear I can get to get used to it. :D

Chad

So that's it! Your afraid jbd is getting the one up on you! :D

So are you going out this weekend? We would be glad to allow you
some practice time with us wet divers!

I would love to dive this weekend but I will be in Whitesburg. :D

Chad

Chris, that does sound good for Joe's. It's been a couple of years since I have been there but if my memory serves me correctly we only had about 5 to 6 feet of viz when I dove it with Chad and Jim.

Now Cerulean Springs would be nice for the holes since the viz is so much better, IMO, but that is a liitle too far for the Eastsiders out of Lexington area.

Well it looks like this weekend the vis will be a BIG ZERO, the
storms have really taken their toll on the local waters! I think
I'll make an additional Mobile Hole to take on trips!
