Once BCD is cleaned after diving - should dump valve and LPI threads be lubed before the assembly?

@tbone1004 Thank you. Recently dump valve became stuck. Not sure what is the reason, probably accidental overtightening or dirt on the threads. So the lube was first idea to prevent the issue. Looks like it might make it worse. Other suggestions?

One thing I have found over the years, is that when I take a dump valve off to clean the BCD, sometimes when I put it back on, the valve itself can get hung up between the threaded cover and the BCD.
Make sure after you are cleaning your BCD and replace the dump valves, that they properly function upon reassembly.
