Travel Recommendation for Bogota (Visiting in January 2013)

Greetings,

I am travelling to Bogota, Colombia the week of January 13th for business. I am interested in spending some time underwater. I would greatly appreciate any local dive shop recommendations or locations to dive.

I am an experienced diver and I appreciate your thoughts in advance.

Hi,

depends on the time you have you have a few option to dive. Let's start in the north.
You have the Islands San and Providencia more or less 2,5h airplane. t
Cartagena on the main coast North top part of Colombia
Taganga - Santa Marta 4-5 h east of Cartagena
Capurgana Panama Border
Golfo de Morosquillo
Bogota : Lago de Totta
South is Gorgona Island

All will depend on your time actually, if you need more Info on a special destination just post
