Trouble posting

Hopefully this post even works.

I tried posting the above one and it says trouble posting click here to try again, then takes me to a link to associate Facebook. I don't want this forum to have access to updating my account information and other features. Is that necessary...?? Shows the post up but everywhere I navigate on the site I still get the error message.

You can control what items get posted to facebook. The app just needs the permission to post.

Thanks. Looks like It is posting but what's the deal with it saying there's trouble and trying to get my Facebook info... Oh well I guess I'll just ignore it...

If you used a different email for facebook and scubaboard, that is probably why. Try disassociating them and then re-associating them.

We just added sharing and it appears to be conflicting with with remnants of the old site. If you hover over your name at the top of the page, you'll see a drop down box with lots of options. Facebook and Twitter options are found in "preferences" and "external accounts". I had to disassociate and then re-associate my FB account to stop a couple of random errors.
